Natural alternatives for the home.
Switching to more natural products within the home has been easier than I thought. I know longer need to rely on heavy duty products that nearly knock you out when used in a confined space or have a cupboard full of germ and dirt busting sprays. Instead I get all my cleaning done with many of the old fashioned cleaners that would have been found in my Grand Parents homes. The great news is that more natural alternatives are popping up on the shelves all the time and whats more they are often much cheaper than traditional cleaning products.
I have three main products for my cleaning in the home; soda crystals, white vinegar and hemp seed oil soap. The white vinegar and hemp seed oil soap gives a great shine to chrome fixtures and leaves shower screens and windows smear free and sparkly. For more info on hemp seed oil click here
Over the last year there has been a significant rise in the number of people looking for natural alternatives for household cleaning. Soapnuts in particular are gaining popularity as an environmentally and skin friendly way of cleaning. I myself have been using them for nearly two years can highly recommend them as a totally natural replacement for traditional laundry soaps. See here to read more about my soapnut experience.
